Can't ssh into vps (vs2-free)

Just finished installing, am using VS2-free so tried to ssh using the ipv6 address, with user root and the password provided. Running Ubuntu 18.04 lts

Using cmd on windows,
ssh: Could not resolve hostname root: No such host is known.

using the online web ssh tool,
Wrong password try again!

Any help is appreciated, thanks!
